Lacey Wilf
2024 Recipient
Iām Lacey Wilf, a senior at Midland High School. My journey into the world of animal science began with a profound love for animals, which led me to become actively involved in the Future Farmers of America (FFA). Through FFA, I've gained invaluable hands-on experience and knowledge, setting me on the path to becoming a completer in the Animal Science program upon graduation.
Looking ahead, I'm eager to pursue my passion for equine health by enrolling in an Equine Dentistry trade program in Texas after graduation. This specialized training will equip me with the skills and expertise needed to provide top-notch dental care to horses, an area where I believe there's a significant need.
Ultimately, my goal is to establish my own practice dedicated to equine dentistry. I envision a place where I can combine my love for horses with my commitment to ensuring their well-being. Through my practice, I hope to make a positive impact on the lives of horses and their owners while contributing to the advancement of equine healthcare.
I'm excited about the opportunities that lie ahead and am grateful for the support of the JSK Scholarship in helping me pursue my dreams.
